The Ski Club of Victoria is an easy-going group with a passion for skiing and snowboarding, and sharing it all together. SCV is like a village within the village – close-knit, welcoming and sincere – where you and your kids can enjoy spontaneous fun among an expanding circle of friends.

Accommodation

Established in 1924, the Ski Club of Victoria is as much a part of the high country as the skiing pioneers who founded it. Back then, members stayed in an old cattlemen’s hut. Today, SCV offers two comfortable lodges – Kandahar and the renowned Ivor Whittaker.

Restaurant

Downright delicious and excellent value, the Whitt offers bistro lunches and a la carte dinners Monday to Sunday. Dinner bookings are essential. Enjoy happy hour from 4 to 6pm nightly and live music weekly. All Ski Club of Victoria members get 15% off food and beverage.

Events

Ski Club Victoria holds all kinds of seasonal events. Our weekly skiing and snowboard races welcome all abilities and ages. Diverse social events range from fun races (like last year’s ‘race in a dress’), colouring competitions and barbecues to our ‘white out’ dance party and regular Monday night darts.

Racing

Racing is one of the main reasons the Ski Club of Victoria was created. Competitive and fun, there are always plenty to choose from, including Saturday racing, member ski-arounds and skills clinics. SCV races have even helped foster Australian ski and snowboard champions.
